Warning! SPOILERS ahead for The Book of Boba Fett episode 6.
The Book of Boba Fett star, Graham Hamilton, has opened up about portraying Luke Skywalker in the series, calling it a magical experience. The Book of Boba Fett is a Disney+ original series that premiered on the platform on December 29th, 2021. The series follows Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) in their fight to claim Jabba the Hutt's old territory on Tatooine. However, episodes 5 and 6 of the series took a break from Fett and Shand's story to catch up with The Mandalorian, as well as Luke Skywalker, Grogu, and Ahsoka.
The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal and Rosario Dawson reprised their roles as Din Djarin and Ahsoka, respectively, for The Book of Boba Fett. However, Skywalker's character actually took the work of two actors, Mark Hamill and Hamilton. CGI was used to de-age Hamill for the role, while Hamilton served as Skywalker's performance artist. Scott Lang also served as a stunt double for Skywalker. Lastly, Skywalker's voice was created by a computer that pieced together the dialogue using recordings of a younger Hamill's voice.
