After you've fetched all of Day One's support requests, the easiest one to tackle (or at least begin) is at Genten in Central Square. Here, Lloyd's friend Wendy wants the SSS to create the appropriate Quartz combination to gain the Hollow Sphere Orbal Art.

This gives each slot more 'holding power', so to speak, so that higher-ranked Quartz can be equipped.
