Since this is the prologue and all, there's a fair chance you're unfamiliar with the fundamentals of Detective Points. The game glosses over this, which is fine; all you need to know is that you'll get some from main story quests, you'll get a few more from taking care of requests (the bulk of Trails from Zero's sidequests), and you'll gain promotions as your DP total increases.
