Bandai Namco has released a new Tekken 8 trailer.
Viewable below, the gameplay reveal trailer shows off Paul Phoenix in action.
The character has appeared in every series entry stretching back to the original Tekken in 1994.
Tekken 8 was officially announced in September 2022, during a PlayStation State of Play livestream.
While a release date hasn’t been confirmed, the game is planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
Bandai Namco recently said closed alpha tests for Tekken 8 will be held across multiple locations globally to gather feedback on the new battle systems introduced in the game.
The first closed alpha test will be held at Evo Japan, which takes place from March 31 to April 2. To participate, players will need to apply via a special website.
Last month, Bandai Namco released a Tekken 8 gameplay trailer showing Kazuya Mishima in action.
Tekken 7 was released for arcades in 2015 before making it way to PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in June 2017.
Last December, series director Katsuhiro Harada said Tekken 7 had topped 10 million sales, taking lifetime franchise sales to over 54 million units.
