Get ready to outrun some clickers - some recent rumours suggest that this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios will feature The Last of Us. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, it would not be too surprising to see the video-game-turned-television-series pop up in the iconic Halloween attraction.
The speculation comes courtesy of the Twitter account @HNNightmares. The account has released a “speculation map” for the upcoming event. It shows off which horror series might be featured and where they might end up throughout the park. Of course, as the account disclaims, this is “based on current speculation and will change as the season progresses”. Still, it gives a pretty good idea of what horror fans can expect from the event later this year.

If the map does reflect what the actual attraction will look like, then The Last of Us will be a featured series for the first time. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic world filled with grotesque infected creatures waiting to tear people apart, The Last of Us is a perfect fit for Horror Nights. The spooky event takes place around Halloween every year and features horror icons and monsters within haunted houses, scare zones, and other live attractions.
If the map is to be believed, then Naughty Dog’s horror-survival would feature in a haunted house that guests could travel through…if they dare. A dilapidated building filled with the horrifying sounds of clickers and the creaking shift of stumbling bloaters seems like a real nightmare. Hopefully, Ellie and Joel are lurking nearby to help any unsuspecting park-goer that gets caught up in the spores.
