The Gauntlet Disabled in Diablo 4 Season 6
Following last week’s Developer Update Livestream, Blizzard released patch notes for the upcoming Patch 2.0. An interesting piece of information that you might have missed was hiding in the Miscellaneous section — the Gauntlet won’t be returning at the start of Season 6.

- The Gauntlet will be disabled for Season 6 while the meta settles with the introduction of the Spiritborn and all other system updates.
According to Blizzard, this decision was made to allow the meta to fall into place with the addition of the new Spiritborn class, among other things. Seeing as Blizzard has stated that they want The Gauntlet Leaderboards to be an even playing field for all players, this feels like the right call for the beginning of Season 6. Whether or not the game mode will be made available later on in Season 6 remains to be seen.
