During a fight with possessed heroes in DC Comics, the Flash revealed that his powers are great at countering magic. In a preview for The Flash #778, the Flash is forced to fight his friends in Justice League Dark, who have been possessed by Eclipso, and thanks to his amazing powers, the Flash is more than a match for the League. The issue goes on sale in print and digital January 25.
After sitting out most of the decade thanks to the New-52, Wally West has returned as the Flash, while his uncle Barry Allen serves with the Justice League Incarnate. At the conclusion of Infinite Frontier, Barry Allen was imprisoned somewhere deep in the Omniverse, and now Wally is finding himself drawn into the multiversal conflict. In a previous issue, the evil god of vengeance Eclipso returned, breaking through to their world and using his powers to take control of various heroes and villains—including the Justice League Dark. With The Flash immune to Eclipso’s powers, he must now face a team of powerful magicians. The issue is written by Jeremy Adams, illustrated by Fernando Pasarin, Matt Ryan and Brent Peeples, colored by Jeromy Cox, Peter Pantazis and Matt Herms and lettered by Rob Leigh.
