The Elder Scrolls Online Announces Reveal Stream for 2024's New Chapter, a 'Continuation' from Necrom
It's that time again, where The Elder Scrolls Online team is preparing to tell us just what we can expect in 2024 from ZeniMax’ MMORPG.
After shifting gears a bit in terms of how they updated their narrative in 2023, and taking us to the Telvanni Peninsula in Necrom , we’ll see where they’re taking us next. The reveal is scheduled for a special stream on January 18th on the Bethesda Twitch channel. The stream will begin at 1PM PST/ 4 PM ET/9 PM GMT and the team promises a look at the next Chapter and more on their plans moving forward with that new release and beyond.
In their announcement of the new reveal, they did drop a couple of hints:
“Join us to see a new (yet familiar) region of Tamriel, as well as the continuation of the story that began in last year’s Necrom Chapter.”
Previously, in Matt Firor’s year-end letter, he did say that there would be some continuation from Necrom, and this holds. Now it’s time to start guessing which new, but familiar, part of Tamriel might be at play here, particularly with some ties that work to continue the story started in Necrom.
Those who tune into the reveal stream will be able to get something via Twitch Drops, a new emote, Pyromancer’s Quandary.
Last year, when they held their reveal stream announcing Necrom, they revealed a release date and the start of what would be the Shadow over Morrowind arc in the spring. We’re expecting something similar this time around.
