The Dalaran and Garrison Hearthstones to Nowhere
In Patch 10.1.5, the Dalaran Hearthstone and Garrison Hearthstone were turned into toys, freeing up precious bag space and making them available to characters new and old — except characters who have never been there before! Attempting to teleport to the Warlords Garrison or Broken Isles without ever having gone through their initial quest chains simply returns an error. Luckily, there's are some simple workarounds which can get you to the Garrison or Dalaran without all the effort of completing their introductory scenarios and initial quest chains, courtesy of helpful Wowhead commenters! Thanks to Blizzard's built-in scenario skip, checking the box for Legion content is very easy, and will unlock the Dalaran Hearthstone with almost no effort at all.
If you want to get the Dalaran Hearthstone as a fresh evoker for example, follow this route, It'll take you a minute or two to complete. HordeAccept The Legion Returns from the Warchief's Command Board in Orgrimmar.Go outside Org and turn in the quest. AcceptTo Be Prepared and tell the NPC you've heard this before to skip the whole Dalaran scenario. You'll get ported to Dalaran.
Either speak with Emissary Auldbridge who's right in front of you with a question mark as you are in Dalaran or below step if he's not there. Speak with innkeeper Amisi Azuregaze in the middle of Dalaran (Chamber of the Guardian) and tell her you've lost your Dalaran hearthstone and she will give you your hearthstone. Done! Alliance Accept The Legion Returns from the Hero's Call Board in Stormwind.
Go to Recruiter Lee at Stormwind Harbor to turn in the quest. AcceptTo Be Prepared and tell the NPC you've heard this before to skip the whole Dalaran scenario. You'll get ported to Dalaran.
