Although Harris and Darlene have not ended their feud for good yet, The Conners season 4 brought the duo together for a satisfying mini reconciliation. The Conners season 4 has struggled with Harris’s storyline as the rebellious teen’s relationship with the immature Aldo put her on poor terms with her mother Darlene. While The Conners season 4 mined some solid laughs from Aldo and Harris’s relationship, the choice to keep her and Darlene’s beef going has thrown off the tone of the show. The family dynamic takes on an unpleasant aspect whenever Harris’s absence is referenced, and her exile from the family has left the core cast feeling imbalanced.
