DeepCool has finally announced its flagship high-performance CPU cooler, the Assassin IV Dual-Tower heatsink. This CPU cooler should easily win the title of the best-looking air cooler to date!
DeepCool first unveiled the Assassin IV at CES 2023 where we got a close-up look at the beautiful and powerful heatsink. Since then, the company hasn't revealed a lot but it looks like we are finally getting a full-blown reveal now. As expected, the DeepCool Assassin IV is a heatsink and a CPU air-cooler unlike any other. Its fully shrouded exterior and unique square design that is coated in all-black looks amazing and will go well with any PC build.
According to DeepCool themselves, the Assassin IV CPU cooler runs super silent and kills up to 280 Watts of heat which is good enough for any modern-day high-end CPU, even the 253W of the Core i9-13900KS will be nothing for this juggernaut.
The heatsink comes with 7 heat pipes and a dual fan combo which includes 120 and 140mm FDB fans that operate silently at extreme RPMs rated at 500 to 1700 RPM, delivering 79.1 / 58.06 CFM airflow in performance and 63.76 / 46.75 CFM airflow in quiet mode. The fans produce less than or equal to 29.3 dB(A) noise at performance and less than or equal to 22.6 dB(A) noise at quiet mode.
As for compatibility, the Assassin IV from DeepCool is compatible with Intel LGA1700/1200/115x, Intel LGA20xx, and AMD AM4/AM5 sockets. You can even adjust the fans for extra clearance if you are running memory sticks with tall heatsinks.
The exact dimensions of the unit are 144 x 147 x 164 mm whereas the heatsink itself measures 140x110x160mm and weighs 1575 grams. The fans are powered by a 4-pin PWM connector and there's even a RGB LED on the heatsink shroud that will
