Warning! Spoilers for Mech Strike: Monster Hunters #1 (of #5) by Marvel Comics
The Avengers are getting their own unique mech suit armors to hunt some of the greatest monsters in the Marvel Universe. However, in the upcoming Mech Strike: Monster Hunters miniseries by Marvel Comics, the new mech upgrades come with a potentially dangerous cost, as the heroes could become corrupted by their dark powers as they try to stop Doctor Doom and his team of villains.
Earlier this year, Marvel Comics revealed a brand new Mech Strike series starring the Avengers taking down monsters with new dark armors. The series is a sequel of sorts to last year's Avengers: Mech Strike from Jed MacKay and Carlos Magno, where Earth's Mightiest Heroes banded together in new mech suits to take down Kang the Conqueror. That miniseries was an epic, no-holds-barred comic featuring some amazing moments and power upgrades that ended in dramatic fashion. Now, Marvel is taking the concept and doing something new, as the Avengers get all-new mechs in Mech Strike: Monster Hunters.
