Warning: contains preview images for All-New, All-Different Savage Avengers #1!
Marvel is reviving the Savage Avengers, and a preview for issue one hints at a large, multiversal, Avengers-style adventure. The team, which initially consisted of the likes of Conan the Barbarian, Venom, and Elektra, will return for a new run in All-New, All-Different Savage Avengers. Judging from the appearance of a Deathlok, this new incarnation of the team may be heading into the multiverse. The first issue is on sale in print and digital on May 4.

The team consisted of some of the most extreme and hardcore heroes in Marvel’s stable, including Elektra, Venom and the Punisher; they fought the likes of Shuma-Gorath and Kulan Gath, and the previous run ended when the team vanquished Gath, seemingly for good. Now after a hiatus, the book returns with an all-new number one and a new lineup, including stalwarts such as Conan and Elektra, as well as new members Cloak and Dagger, Anti-Venom, Black Knight and Weapon H. All-New, All-Different Savage Avengers will be written by David Pepose and illustrated by Carlos Magno.
