Because Marvel's Avengers is a live-service title, it bears the weight of content expectancy. Any content unveiled and released is expected to be followed up with content that is just as rich. Unfortunately, no new content roadmap has been shared since Marvel's Avengers stated the newest roadmap would be detailed in early 2022. That time has passed with no new information, but a new development update has suddenly dropped today that hopes to shed more context on future updates, which will include the release of its newest playable character.

Jane's official announcement confirms recent rumors about Marvel's Avengers' next playable character, and the associated rumor that Jane's release is meant to coincide with the theatrical release of Thor: Love and Thunder this July is also plausible now as a result.
