Marvel's Avengers Announces Jane Foster's Mighty Thor as Next Playable Hero
Many characters from comic book source material as well as the MCU's popular iterations have been requested by fans for Marvel's Avengers' next playable heroes. Commonly mentioned characters such as Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch have not been revealed yet, however, and news has been scarce since Marvel's Avengers' PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man.
Because Marvel's Avengers is a live-service title, it bears the weight of content expectancy. Any content unveiled and released is expected to be followed up with content that is just as rich. Unfortunately, no new content roadmap has been shared since Marvel's Avengers stated the newest roadmap would be detailed in early 2022. That time has passed with no new information, but a new development update has suddenly dropped today that hopes to shed more context on future updates, which will include the release of its newest playable character.
