Fans of Marvel's Avengers game were recently teased with the next playable hero, Jane Foster's Mighty Thor, who promises to set herself apart from Odinson's Thor with her own unique abilities. The game allows fans to play as many of Marvel's superpowered heroes with friends as they fight hordes of enemies across popular Marvel locations. While the game met its share of issues after launch, new updates and DLC have dramatically improved on many of its previous problems.
DLC packs like War for Wakanda and Future Imperfect have added more characters and content for the Avengers game. Players have been able to unlock new loot and costumes pulled directly from the decades of material contained in the many stories found in Marvel comics. While Marvel's Avengers has managed to stay closer to the storylines found in the comics, character skins and references to Marvel's Cinematic Universe movies are included in the game. And the game's developer has announced that a new playable hero is in the works. The new hero was featured at the end of the MCU's Thor: Love and Thunder teaser trailer, Jane Foster's Thor herself.

Jane Foster's Mighty rendition of Thor will arrive in the Marvel's Avengers 2.5 update sometime this summer, and developers promise she is not a reskin of Thor and his abilities. Though she will wield the hammer Mjolnir, the developers promise that Jane Foster will have her own, unique mechanics and skills.
