Better Call Saul season 6 cameo discussion may revolve around Walter White, but another Breaking Bad alum deserves one final appearance way more. Across 5 seasons, Better Call Saul has dug deeper into backstories of characters we met back in Breaking Bad. The spinoff's starring duo of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) aside, Better Call Saul has extended prequel invitations to Giancarlo Esposito's Gus Fring, Dean Norris' Hank Schrader, Lavell Crawford's Huell Babineaux, and Steven Ogg's Sobchak among many others. Alas, we've yet to reunite with Breaking Bad's leading duo, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).
That could all change in Better Call Saul season 6 — the final chapter of Jimmy's origin story. Although we can probably rule out an Aaron Paul cameo simply due to the actor being older than pre-Breaking Bad Jesse, a guest spot for Walter White remains firmly on the table. That could come either in Better Call Saul's prequel timeline, before Walt has earned his meth kingpin status, or during the Gene timeline, which could be taking place before Walt's death in the Breaking Bad finale. Understandably, Walt is the character Better Call Saul fans will be looking out for most in season 6… but there's another familiar face from Breaking Bad who perhaps deserves that closure more.
