Tears Of The Kingdom Technical Review Claims It Doesn't Match Original Trailer's Visuals

There is only one day left until The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches to very probable domination of the bestseller lists. Review embargo is up and from the looks of things Nintendo's follow-up to Breath of the Wild has been worth the wait.

However, not all reviews have been so glowing, one outlet has awarded Tears of the Kingdom 6/10, while in a technical review the game was found wanting too.

Uber geeks, and technical wizards, Digital Foundry put Tears of the Kingdom through its paces, with the analysts looking hard at the game's technical aspects. Identifying the significance of Zelda to the medium, since it has become known for "constantly reinventing itself", pushing new ideas and video games forward, Breath of the Wild was no different. While the Nintendo Switch is firmly no longer pushing hardware limits, it's true that previous titles, such as Ocarina of Time on the N64, extended the imaginations of game development.
