The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has become the UK’s third best-selling boxed Zelda game after just four weeks.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, physical sales of Nintendo‘s game have now overtaken those of Ocarina of Time on N64.
Only Tears of the Kingdom’s predecessor, 2017 Switch launch game Breath of the Wild, and 2006’s GameCube and Wii release Twilight Princess, have sold more boxed copies in the UK.

Tears of the Kingdom held the top spot on the chart ahead of new entry Street Fighter 6, which reportedly didn’t enjoy a strong physical launch.
The PS5 version of Capcom’s fighter accounted for 79% of its boxed sales, ahead of the Xbox Series X/S version (13%) and the PS4 version (8%).
FIFA 23, Hogwarts Legacy and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe rounded off the top five.
The only other new entries were Company of Heroes 3: Console Edition and Evercade Team17 Amiga Collection 1, which debuted at No.32 and No.40 respectively.
Tears of the Kingdom was released on May 12 and sold 10 million copies worldwide in its first three days, according to Nintendo.
That made it the fastest-selling game in the history of the series and the fastest-selling Nintendo game for any system in Europe and the Americas.
The Zelda franchise has now sold over 130 million units since launching in 1986, according to Nintendo.
