Waititi is known for directing the two latest movies in the Thor franchise for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Thor: Ragnarok received positive reviews for its fun tone and action sequences, his latest movie Thor: Love and Thunder received a mixed response.
There are no current plans for a fifth Thor movie, and it is unknown whether Waititi will return to direct it. However, he recently told Screen Rant about what he would do if he got to direct another Thor movie.

Hela was the villain of Thor: Ragnarok, portrayed by Cate Blanchett. The villain of Thor: Love and Thunder was Gorr the God Butcher, portrayed by Christian Bale.
