A new study claims to reveal the 10 most popular horror video games for gamers to try this Halloween season. It's October, which means that gamers all over the world are looking for horror games to play. There are new horror games launching in October 2022, but there are also plenty of other horror games that have been out for a while that fans may want to try to help celebrate Halloween this year.

Ranked by US and global search volume, the 15 most popular horror games this Halloween season are Dead by Daylight, Phasmophobia, Bloodborne, Doki Doki Literature Club, The Last of Us, Silent Hill, Little Nightmares, Mortal Kombat 11, Returnal, Until Dawn, Metro Exodus, Outlast, Dead Space, Little Nightmares 2, and Carrion.
