Activision has revealed more about the launch details of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and with it announced the three-mission lineup for the Special Ops mode. Similarly to its predecessor, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Special Ops missions offer much-requested a co-op experience. The game launches officially on October 28 with a Campaign mode, Multiplayer, and Spec Ops co-op missions.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is Activision's newest iteration of its massively popular first-person shooter franchise. The game continues the campaign storyline of its predecessor, 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, in a new setting. This time players hop into the boots of Modern Warfare's Task Force 141 members in Mexico, just south of the US border, and fight against terrorists and the cartel. In addition to the campaign, the game offers multiplayer and co-op experiences.

Activision's announced the lineup for the returning co-op mode Spec Ops as part of its launch pipeline reveal. From the beginning, and including Modern Warfare 2 Early Access, players will be able to test their strengths in small teams as Spec Ops launches with three new missions. All the missions take place in the confines of the battle royale map Al Mazrah and will be replayable.
Low Profile is a mission in which players infiltrate a town inside Al Mazrah during nighttime. The aim is to recover intelligence and evidence from Al Qatala, the same terrorist organization from Modern Warfare 2's story. This includes infiltration behind enemy lines, and being stealthy is essential for success and survival. In the Denied Area mission, players are trying to destroy surface-to-air missile (SAM)
