Stray is a third-person indie adventure game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. Even though Stray is an indie game, it's been the talk of the town since it was revealed back in 2020 and is one of the most anticipated games of 2022. One of the main reasons for people being highly interested in it is because players get to control a cat in a futuristic cyberpunk setting.
Players will meow and purr their way through a decrepit city that's filled with robots and a mysterious secret that gets untangled. With some light platforming, stealth, and puzzles to solve, Stray offers players a good chunk of gameplay time that won't overstay its welcome. Here's how long Stray takes to beat.

Stray will take about five hours or so for most players to beat and see the end credits. However, that time can vary based on gamers' playstyles. There are 27 collectibles to find and collect throughout Stray's 12 chapters, and completionists will also want to unlock all the trophies, adding even more to the total playtime.
For those who want to see and get everything, it might take about eight hours or more. It's also worth noting that there's a Stray trophy called 'I am Speed,' requiring players to complete the entire game in under two hours.
While Stray is a fairly short indie game, there are still a dozen chapters for players to work their way through. Having a chapter list ensures that players have a good idea of how close they are to the end of the game, or to see how much progress they've made so far.
