We're just days away from the release of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the appropriately weird reimagining of the beginnings of the iconic Final Fantasy franchise. If you're looking forward to the action-RPG but haven't preordered your copy just yet, you can save on your preorder at Walmart and GameStop right now.
Walmart has the Xbox version of the game discounted to $50 right now, while GameStop is offering the PlayStation edition for the same price. If you order soon from Walmart, you can get free release-day delivery arriving this Friday, March 18. GameStop promises delivery «on or shortly after release day.»
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin takes place in the same world as the first Final Fantasy game and features a more methodical approach to combat than recent Final Fantasy action-RPGs. It earned a 7/10 in our Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin review.
