If you’ve been milling about in the Elden Ring community lately, you might have heard tell of a certain player. There’s been a growing myth around an Elden Ring player going by the name “let me solo her,” and they’re doing just that: helping others clear one of the game’s most demanding challenges.
With nothing but a jar on his head, a katana in each hand, and nigh-on butt-naked, Let Me Solo Her has become an online folk hero of the Elden Ring endgame.

As many players have probably learned by now, becoming the Elden Lord is one thing in Elden Ring. But much like other FromSoftware games, there are greater challenges hiding deeper within the roots of its latest game.
One of those challenges is Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Despite being a pretty lore-relevant boss and arguably one of the hardest FromSoft has ever crafted, she’s easy to miss. As RockPaperShotgun outlines in its guide, she’s hidden behind multiple ventures and interactions.
Once you get to her, you’re faced with an incredibly daunting challenge. Malenia employs dangerous sword moves and a variety of scarlet rot-based attacks. She can lifesteal, essentially, undoing damage done to her and making summons a potential liability.
