The month of April has been a busy one so far, with Stufful arriving on the scene for a special community day adventure. Pokemon GO also has some April research tasks to take advantage of, with many challenges rewarding players with unique Pokemon to catch and some items to use in their journey to becoming the very best.

When these missions no longer give players the thrill they require, there is an option to come up with self-made challenges to make things harder on themselves. Like performing a hardcore nuzlocke run in a Pokemon game, imposing different stipulations can create a more difficult playthrough, but one many can enjoy. Reddit user notAKawaiiCatGirl has found a challenge tailor-made for Pokemon GO and appears to be next to impossible to complete until they achieve such success. While players can now reach level 50 in Pokemon GO, notAKawaiiCatGirl reached level 30 using a strict do-not-catch policy.
Using a strict rule-set of not catching any Pokemon, both in the overworld and as special research tasks, and no trading Pokemon with friends, they set off to gain as much experience as possible. They also limited their friend list to only real-life friends and could only add to their Pokedex using egg hatching. While a new update is coming to Pokemon GO's friend list capacity, even with the current cap at 200, notAKawaiiCatGirl is closed off at just nine friends.
