While it is likely Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will take many mechanics from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it doesn't seem likely Alpha Pokémon will be seen in the new Generation Nine region. In recent years, each new Pokémon main series game has been given a gimmick to freshen up the standard formula. This has included Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax and Gigantamax, and Alpha Pokémon. Each mechanic is tailored to the new Pokémon region the games take place in, and often has an important place in the main narrative.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus debuted a number of experimental mechanics when it made the leap from linear RPG gameplay to open-world-inspired exploration. The introduction of a foraging and crafting system offered better access to items while traveling, and real-time catch mechanics created a better sense of immersion in the trainer journey. While the foraging and crafting system will likely make its way into Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, as well as the open-world friendly catch mechanics of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, other Hisui-specific options will likely be omitted both for narrative purposes and overall benefits to gameplay.

Alpha Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus are special, extra-large, powerful variations of standard species found throughout Hisui. While they have a small chance of spawning anywhere, a select amount have locations they will always appear at, giving players a chance to try their skills at battling or catching them.
