A leaker has kicked the rumor mill into overdrive, after claiming to have revealed Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Legendary Pokémon early. Originally unveiled during February's Pokémon Day celebrations, Game Freak announced Generation 9's Pokémon Scarlet and Violetwould launch in Fall 2022. Since the three-minute announcement trailer, there has been no additional information on the Gen 9 Pokémon games. Now, a new rumor claims to have leaked major hints about the Legendary Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet.
Outside of the announcement trailer, Pokémon fans don't actually know a lot about Scarlet and Violet. Based on the early promotional material, the RPG looks to be taking heavy inspiration from Pokémon Legends: Arceus with its vast-open world map. Eagle-eyed fans who have picked apart the first trailer have also theorized that the new region will be based on Spain due to a handful of hints, including the names of the Gen 9 Starter Pokémon Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly.

However, a new rumor has many speculating as to whether the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries have already been leaked ahead of an official reveal. The rumor was sparked by a popular Twitter leaker named Riddler Khu who has a history of teasing information early through riddles. Their new clues have some Pokémon fans believing that the account has unveiled the Gen 9 Legendaries already.
The rumor first kicked off in early April, when leaker Riddler Khu began to post cryptic hints on Twitter using Pokémon Masters EX screenshots with special markings on the images. Many Pokémon fans took notice of the cryptic tweets, as the leaks account had previously dropped hints
