VED is a story-driven RPG that features a turn-based combat system and painterly visuals, and it slashes onto PS4 sometime in 2024. We got a glimpse at its grim, magical world in a new story trailer.
Taking a page out of the excellent Darkest Dungeon playbook, this slower pace of combat is spiced up by graphic renderings of combat, with comic-book-style panels doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Apparently, VED features a non-linear story, with various factions having their own views on the events that transpire. A dynamic system of relationships will allow the player to influence the decisions made by these key characters, leading to one of the game's different endings.

Khayl Adam is the second best video game journalist Australia has ever produced, and his ambitions of world domination have (thus far) been curbed by the twin siren songs of strategy games and CRPGs. He has always felt an affinity for the noble dachshund, the best kind of dog.
Absolutely awful name, but the art style looks really cool.
Beautiful game, very unique looking. Definitely interested…
The visuals look really good but everything else just looks bland and boring.
@pumpkin_head I'd have agree 100%… Don't care if the name is an acronym for something, or not.
Looks like it'll be right up my alley! I'm VED-ie interested!!!
