Step Aside Armored Core, Megaton Musashi: Wired Brings Mecha Action to PS5, PS4 in 2023 | Push Square
Fans of big old mecha battles could be eating very well indeed this year. Level-5 has just announced Megaton Musashi: Wired for both PS5 and PS4 — an action RPG in which giant robots beat the nuts and bolts out of each other.
This'll be the first Megaton Musashi game to come West, and boy does it look like a blast in its debut gameplay trailer (which you can watch above). You can create and customise your own machine by combining bodies, limbs, and weapons, but you'll also be able to hop into the pilot seat of classic Japanese 'bots from the likes of Mazinger Z and Getter Robot, which is sure to excite fans of old school anime.
What's more, developer Level-5 is promising full cross-play support between PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, whether you're playing three-on-three competitive multiplayer or three-player co-op.
