Starship Troopers - Terran Command has been delayed. Again. The game was first announced back in 2019 targeting a 2020 release date. You can’t really blame developer The Aristocrats for missing that deadline and following it up with a more realistic March 31, 2022 release date. Now it seems that Starship Troopers fans will have to wait a few more months before they can play the new bug-stomping RTS.
In a post to the game's Steam page, The Aristocrats revealed the new release date for Starship Troopers - Terran Command is June 16.

"We know many will find this announcement disappointing and we apologize. We truly feel that a few extra months of further polish and bug fixing will make a significant difference," the devs wrote. "We intend to deliver a finished and polished game, and it is very important for us that you are able to fully enjoy the game from day 1, without any issue spoiling your fun or without having to wait for future patches or hotfixes."
We got our first look at Starship Troopers - Terran Command back in February 2021 with a beta gameplay trailer showcasing a platoon of the Terran Federation Army being ambushed by the Bugs in a canyon. Showcasing the different unit types and their special abilities, the Terran soldiers were able to beat back an Arachnid swarm while also taking out a giant tank-like beetle that spat caustic acid. Losses were taken, but the Terrans still managed to win the day.
Besides your standard footmen, Starship Troopers will also feature airstrikes, Marauder mechs, and a fleet of dropships able to expand Terran operations and help capture strategic positions. Each unit has its own special ability, as will the bugs.
