Bethesda has launched Starfield’s next big update, which features DLSS support, in Steam beta.
It allows PC players to try out the update in a separate beta version of the game before the patch is rolled out for all Xbox and PC players.
It will require a separate download, but players will be able to continue with their latest save.
Details on how to access the Starfield beta update can be found here.
As well as Nvidia DLSS support with frame generation, the update adds the ability to consume food and drink items upon finding them.
Various fixes and improvements are also detailed in the full patch notes, which we’ve republished below.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said last week that Starfield’s release day set a new record for most new Game Pass subscriptions in a single day.
“More than 11 million people have played the game to date,” he said. “Nearly half of hours played have been on PC, and on launch day, we set a record for the most Game Pass subscriptions added on a single day ever.”
