Starfield Players Discover Infinite Money Exploit
Starfield hasn't been out a week yet but players have already discovered an infinite money exploit that's very similar to that in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
As reported by PC Gamer, YouTuber vNivara uploaded a video showing how players can access infinite amounts of credits by breaking into shop vendors' secret stashes, stealing all their wares, and then selling them back.
This works the same as the main infinite money exploit in Skyrim, but is perhaps more likely to get patched out as it involves falling through the map instead of finding a sneaky stash under some rocks in Dawnstar.
Players will need to prepare a little before accessing this area by obtaining the Power Boostpack mod and reaching Rank 2 in the Boost Pack Training Skill.
vNivara shows exactly how to access the vendor chests, which sit underneath New Atlantis, with a bunch of parkour moves and jumps that eventually lead to a fall through the map. Players can then steal everything from the chests, however, before warping back topside.
Vendors can then be reset by heading off to another planet, resting for a bit, and zooming back, letting the player rinse and repeat the method for an infinite amount of cash.
This will surely be one of the first of many exploits that let players access some goodies they shouldn't necessarily have, with another letting them access a killer spacesuit super early in the game. Be sure to check out IGN's Starfield Guide for other exploits and cheats.
Starfield is off to a hot start, technically topping sales charts even before it officially launched. When its release date finally came around on September 6, however, Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealed more than one million people were playing Starfield concurrently.
