's own Marnie is notoriously difficult to find. It always seems to happen at the worst possible times, too: the animals are angry, there's nothing in their troughs, the silos are empty, there's no more grass on the farm. The player's only option is to rush down to Marnie's Ranch and dump a significant amount of their money into piles and piles of Hay, but they arrive, only to find no one at the front desk and Marnie nowhere to be seen for miles.
It's a known fact that Marnie has some secrets even a friendship with her won't reveal. There's her poorly-hidden relationship with Lewis, for example, which frequently leads to embarrassing discoveries and awkward encounters. But perhaps her greatest kept secret is her irregular schedule. Whether they desperately need hay or just want to drop off a birthday gift, here's when players can actually, reliably find Marnie in.
Ostensibly, according to the sign on her door,Marnie's Ranch is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from Wednesday through Sunday. This can be somewhat confusing, because her barn doors are technically open until 6:00 PM. However, players will have to arrive by 4:00 PM if they actually want to purchase anything from her.
Stardew Valley has several things a player can focus on, like farming, ranching, or relationships. In fact, you don’t even have to leave the farm.
She's regularly closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but Marnie also takes off a few days sporadically throughout the year. She has special schedules on Fall 18 (her birthday), and Winter 18; she also closes up shop on Spring 17 once the bus is repaired and the Calico Desert is unlocked. She'll also typically take off on green rain days during Year One.
Fridays and Sundays are typically good days to visit Marnie's Ranch, as the player can also stop at the nearby Traveling Cart to purchase a wide variety of items.
Do note that, beginning in Year Two, Marnie's hours basically become irrelevant. That's because she'll start selling a special book in her shop
