Stardew Valley's Shrek Mod Even Makes Friendships Better

The popular farming simulator has many milestones players can earn that improve the town as they advance through Stardew Valley and become successful farmers. In addition to farm-focused achievements, players can also find new activities to share with town residents to increase relationship levels.
Stardew Valley tasks the player with taking over their grandfather's dilapidated farm, growing crops, and raising animals as they create a thriving agricultural business. Additionally, they will take on tasks like collecting resources, crafting farm tools, mining in dungeons, and forging friendships with the people who inhabit the small town of Stardew Valley. Players also work towards goals like completing the town's community center — and defeating the evil Joja Mart corporation — by collecting bundles of different items. Once achieved, a final bundle will appear in the abandoned Joja Mart, transforming the building into a movie theater. Players can then invite residents to the theater, improving their friendship with each outing if their guest enjoys the film.

To make the trip more fun, a Stardew Valley mod has added a new film to the movie theater's rotation. According to PCGamesN, the mod makes Shrek available for viewing. The mod, for obvious copyright reasons, does not contain the entire movie. Instead, in true Shrek meme fashion, it contains a series of Shrek images described as a "lovingly curated slideshow of low-res PNGs."
