Nightwing Doesn't Even Know Who His True Nemesis Is

In a new preview for DC's Nightwing, it's confirmed that Dick Grayson's true nemesis in Blüdhaven isn't who he thinks. While Dick's most consistent foe in Blüdhaven has long been the powerful crime boss Blockbuster, it's being teased that the new Nightwing villain Heartless is finally ready to emerge from the shadows. As such, this new preview suggests that Blockbuster will soon be the least of Nightwing's worries.
In previous issues of DC's Nightwing from Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo, the Eisner-winning duo has featured Dick Grayson taking an all-new direction when it comes to saving his city of Blüdhaven. Having inherited billions of dollars from the late Alfred Pennyworth, Dick has been attempting to create a safety net for the least fortunate in his city by creating new infrastructure and non-profits to help those in need. However, those same people are the ones Blüdhaven's criminals take advantage of the most, serving a key part in their illicit operations. As such, Nightwing and Blockbuster have been butting heads (both with and without Grayson wearing his mask).

Now, the new preview for Nightwing #93 sees Blockbuster encountering Heartless. Seeing as how the new and mysterious foe has remained in the shadows thus far in Nightwing's new Battle for Blühaven arc, it doesn't seem as though Grayson even knows Heartless exists. The new villain also reveals he wants Grayson to keep giving the city hope so he can eventually rip it all away.
