Krobus may be one of the most popular characters in but players should think twice before moving in with him, especially when it comes to his questionable sense of style. Unlike many of the other Pelican Town citizens, the Farmer is unable to put a ring on Krobus' finger and while a marriage option may not happen in a future update, ConcernedApe at least allows players to share a living space with the strange entity. Instead of good morning kisses, Krobus receives a friendly hug and while that's adorable, his decor is less appealing.
Per a Reddit post by user SillyZubat, the player spotlights a hilarious incident of Krobus doing his best to decorate his shared home by installing flooring that doesn't match any of the other furniture in the kitchen.
Taking it in their stride, rather than replace Krobus' efforts SillyZubat instead remodels the kitchen to better suit the updated floor design and the result is a suitably «dark academic» design. Just goes to show that while Krobus is fun to live with, his general understanding of Feng shui leaves much to be desired.

Much like the other eligible characters in, to start a (platonic) life with Krobus players must first put in the time to earn his friendship. This is done by handing over dozens of gifts over the weeks and the friendly monster has some strange likes indeed. Krobus adores anything related to Void, so dropping off Void Eggs and Void Mayonnaise is the key to his heart but players who want to expedite the process further can win him over with plenty of Iridium Bars.
Once players have maxed out their friendship with Krobus they're ready for the next step in their relationship: Moving in together. To unlock this, the Farmer must head to Calico Desert, specifically to the Desert Trader, and exchange 200 Void Essence for the Void Ghost Pendant. Presenting this to the monster serves
