Capable of producing 24 different pitches, these blocks are triggered by walking past them. Recently, one talented player decided to perform a mini-concert in the game using Flute Blocks.
In a post on Reddit, a user known as YaramyGD shared a video from their time playingStardew Valley. While many gameplay clips have been captured from the popular farming RPG, what made this one stand out was that the Reddit user managed to recreate the “Turkish March,” a classical piece of music composed by Mozart. Using Flute Blocks, they made a path a player could walk along that triggered specific notes. When activated in the correct order, they made a coherent melody reminiscent of the iconic song.

In the video posted by YaramyGD, they demonstrated the Flute Blocks in action. Following the preset course they had designed, the player weaved their way through the seemingly hundreds of Flute Blocks, each set to a specific pitch. What made this creation even more impressive was its length. The Reddit user did not just recreate a single segment from the song, but they managed to play the entire masterpiece, which lasts over 3 minutes.
Besides showing off their version of the “Turkish March,” YaramyGD provided a few details behind how they made the arrangement. According to the creator, they modded the speed of the Flute Blocks in order to allow them to be played fast enough.
