In Stardew Valley, during the second day of fall on the player's first year, a new commission board will be set up right below Mayor Lewis's house. This board will have special orders on it that are put in by the citizens of the town. Completing these tasks will unlock new items and cutscenes, and will also make the game much easier for the player in the long run.
