The Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 trailerdropped, confirming the return of Asajj Ventress, a beloved character long thought dead. But now, an eagle-eyed viewer may have uncovered another returning character, and this return is downright tragic.
The Bad Batch has the distinction of essentially being the only Star Wars series that serves as a true successor to the acclaimed animated series The Clone Wars, despite plenty of other shows including characters the latter had previously introduced. Exploradora's possible discovery happens during a scene showing a «new» character leading a platoon of Imperial stormtroopers. The idea here is that, after Tech supposedly became the first major character death in The Bad Batch, Imperial forces may have found him alive and brainwashed him to become a loyal soldier. Any Marvel fans will recognize this as an almost identical plot point to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which saw the Captain's friend Bucky turned into a ruthless killer by the Hydra organization using similar methods.
This could make things even more emotional for both the members of Clone Force 99
