Star Trek: Lower Decks The Final Season & Complete Series Blu-ray & DVD Release Date Set
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray and DVD release date for both The Final Season and The Complete Series. This comes after the hit Paramount+ animated show had just wrapped up its five-season run last December 19.
“In the final season, the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is tasked with closing ‘space potholes’ – subspace rifts which are causing chaos in the Alpha Quadrant,” reads the official synopsis. “Pothole duty would be easy for Jr. Officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford…if they didn’t also have to deal with an Orion war, furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries and scariest of all: their own career aspirations.”
The 2-disc collection of Star Trek: Lower Decks The Final Season will be available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD starting on March 25, 2025. In addition, the collection will have 25 minutes of exclusive bonus content. On the same day, Paramount will also be releasing the limited edition Blu-ray Steelbook of Star Trek: Lower Decks The Complete Series, which will include an exclusive art card with the signatures of your favorite Lower Decks crew. The 10-disc collection will feature nearly 5 hours of special features, including audio commentaries and featurettes.
The animated show centered around on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos. It featured the voices of Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O’Connell, Fred Tatasciore and Gillian Vigman. It was executive produced by Alex Kurtzman, Mike McMahan, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth, with Titmouse serving as its animation studio.
