The script for Marvel Studios' latest smash hit, Spider-Man: No Way Home, has been released online. No Way Home is the third Spider-Man film within the MCU starring Tom Holland as the titular web-slinging hero, taking place mere moments after the conclusion of 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home. Despite releasing in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, No Way Home is the first film to gross $1 billion at the box office since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019.
Of the three MCU Spider-Man movies, No Way Home is by far the most ambitious in scale, pitting Holland's Peter Parker against villains from previous Spider-Man franchises. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also make an appearance, reprising their roles as multiversal variants of Peter Parker. The film concludes with Holland existing in an entirely new status quo – one where the entire world (his closest friends included) is unaware of his existence, thanks to Doctor Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) magical hijinks. Cut off from his previous relationships with the Avengers, Spider-Man's future is more open-ended than it has ever been before.
