When Spider-Man 3 didn't live up to the two movies that had come before it, and production of Spider-Man 4 was halted, the world thought it had seen the last of Tobey Maguire as the web-slinger. Fast forward 14 years and both Maguire and Andrew Garfield were given another chance to don their red and blue suits in No Way Home. Most fans were so happy to see both actors return as Spidey they're hoping the two of them will get to continue their arcs.
Although nothing has been confirmed just yet, that almost seems to be a given for Garfield. It hasn't been nearly as long since his last Spidey movie and Sony can simply claim his and Venom's universes were the same one all along. It might take a little more thought to make a new Maguire movie work, but the original live-action Spidey appears to be very keen to tie up his own Peter Parker's loose ends.

Maguire, Garfield, and Tom Holland were all interviewed together for Deadline to talk about everything No Way Home. How the movie came together and the nightmare that was keeping the returning Spider-Men's returns a secret. The topic of returning to the big screen as Spider-Man again was mentioned to Maguire, to which the actor replied he doesn't want to re-close that chapter before certain things in his own Spider-verse are resolved.
“I’m not quite sure how to put it.
