Spider-Man 2 fans are redesigning Miles Morales' infamously bad Evolved suit, proving that it could look a whole lot better than it currently does.
Considering Spider-Man 2 has two playable protagonists, introduces the symbiote suit and a whole bunch of new villains, and sets up a ton of potential story threads for Spider-Man 3 to follow, it's pretty surprising to see that the thing that everyone is talking about the most is a new Spider-Man suit. The outfit in question is Miles' new "Evolved" suit, which he makes at the end of the game and that appears to be his new canon costume.
The Evolved suit was plenty unpopular when Spider-Man 2 first launched, but it's gotten a whole new round of haters since Adidas revealed that it was making merchandise out of it.
Although the Evolved suit is supposed to cap off Miles' character arc and show that he's doing things his own way, it's been near-universally panned by fans, with some even calling it one of the worst Spider-Man suits of all time, something that seems harsh when Programmable Matter is right there. In fact, Insomniac's take on the Evolved suit has been so unpopular that dedicated Spidey fans have been trying to prove that they can do it better by redesigning it.
One such redesign comes from Twitter user breetheSHEEP, who shared some sketches of their take on the Evolved suit. Their design keeps the same energy and vibe as the original (along with the shoes), but changes the top half into a hoodie, the bottom half into some tracksuit-looking trousers, and, most importantly, changes the mask part of the suit so that Miles' hair doesn't poke through the top. I like the Evolved suit well enough as it is, but it's hard to deny that this redesign looks a whole lot better.
