Morbius has flopped at the box office, but this could mean Sony will be keener than ever to pursue a third Amazing Spider-Man movie with Andrew Garfield. Critics and audiences alike have uniformly rejected the Jared Leto led Sony Marvel movie, which is set in Sony's Spider-Man universe, shared with the upcoming Kraven the Hunter, Venom, and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film has been met with significant criticism, and currently holds a dismal 17% critical consensus on Rotten Tomatoes. According to Box Office Mojo, it has earned just over $160 million worldwide, on a roughly $80 million budget.
