Sony hasn't been shy about its attempts to break into the PC gaming space as of late. Following a series of high-profile game releases of former PlayStation exclusives such as God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn, as well as the upcoming launches of Spider-Man and The Last of Us Part 1, the company seems to have many more plans for expansion in this regard.
Namely, Sony has now announced that it's launching a new hardware gaming brand that is specifically designed to target the PC gaming audience. The so-called Inzone peripherals are currently limited just to monitors and headphones, with both of these lineups featuring high-end functionality and chassis design that's clearly reminiscent of the company's flagship console.

As some may have already suspected, Sony's new Inzone hardware brand was, indeed, the subject of last week's Sony gaming headphone leak. The three leaked headphone designs — simply known as H3, H7, and H9 — offer varying levels of functionality at similarly varying price points and signal the notion that Inzone is attempting to appeal to both low and high-end gaming clientele. The monitors also reflect this, as Inzone has prepared the high-end M9 and the lower-end M3 to cover this hardware category.
M9, specifically, comes in at a steep $899 for a non-OLED display, but offers the full array of amenities that gamers have come to expect from high-end gaming monitors. It renders the image at a crisp 4K resolution with a maximum 144 Hz refresh rate, has full VRR support, a 1ms response time, and has been rated for DisplayHDR 600.
