The God of War Ragnarök release date announcement has proved extremely popular with fans on social media.
On Wednesday Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that the God of War Ragnarök release date is November 9, 2022.
At the time of publishing, the announcement was made around 22 hours ago, and in that time it has racked up 154,000 likes on the official PlayStation Twitter account and more than four million views on YouTube.
Perhaps, most impressively, the announcement also generated a million likes on Instagram within around 17 hours, a milestone rarely reached on the PlayStation Instagram account.
By comparison, the Instagram post announcing The Last of Us Part I remake was posted three weeks ago and currently has 317,000 likes.
It’s by no means PlayStation’s most liked Instagram image of all time, however. That accolade goes to the PS5 logo, which was posted in January 2020 and amassed nearly 5 million likes in 48 hours.
An image of PS5’s DualSense controller also amassed more than four million likes on the social media platform in under 24 hours.
