Paramount is putting more Sonic the Hedgehog productions into development. A third Sonic the Hedgehog movie is officially in development, and next year a live-action series featuring Knuckles will come to Paramount+.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 doesn’t premiere for the public until April 8, but it seems like Paramount is keen on keeping the Blue Blur running. Details aren’t out yet on where the third movie will go, but Paramount has confirmed that the Knuckles series will still have Idris Elba on board. The Paramount+ Sonic series will premiere sometime in 2023.
