Would you eat Sonic for breakfast?
By Eddie Makuch on
When you think about Sonic, you think about waffles, right? Well, now you do. Sega and Uncanny Brands have partnered up to create an officially licensed Sonic the Hedgehog waffle maker.
This waffle maker looks incredible, but unfortunately, it's available only at Dave & Buster's as a prize option. Sega licensing boss Michael Cisneros, in what should go down in history as an all-time great press quote, said in a news release, «Fans have made it loud and clear that they want more Sonic appliances in their kitchens...»
«We look forward to satiating their demand (and hunger),» Cisneros said (via GoNintendo).
The blue waffle maker features a Sonic-giving-a-thumbs-up graphic on top. Press down the non-stick lid and it will create a circular waffle with Sonic's face on it, along with some very important small squares to fill with syrup. Take a look:

Uncanny Brands makes waffle makers and other items based on a whole host of other popular brands, including Shrek, Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokemon, Bob Ross, The Office, and Marvel.
In other Sega news, the Japanese gaming giant is paying more than $750 million to acquire Angry Birds developer Rovio in the video game industry's latest blockbuster buyout. Additionally, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has fallen further down the list of highest-grossing video game movies thanks to The Super Mario Bros. Movie's massive success at the box office.
