Some of the classic games being made available as part of the new PlayStation Plus subscription service will include trophy support.
The news was confirmed by one of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first-party developers, Bend Studio, which said on Thursday that it will be adding trophies for Syphon Filter.
“Agency intel reports that Syphon Filter will include Trophies when it arrives on the all-new PlayStation Plus,” it wrote.
“And yes, you can earn the Platinum too.”

The PlayStation rewards system, which lets players earn trophies by accomplishing objectives such as clearing levels, finding collectables, or completing certain tasks, was introduced by Sony in 2008.

Sony recently confirmed a partial list of games that will be made available as part of the revamped PlayStation Plus service, which is due to launch in Asia next week and the rest of the world in June.
The PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers will offer a library of PS4 and PS5 games that will include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Demon’s Souls, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, NBA 2K22 and more.
Some of the PSOne and PSP games coming to the Premium tier include first-party titles Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf and Syphon Filter, and third-party games like Mr. Driller and Tekken 2.
Select PSOne and PSP games will sport a new user interface with menus that allow players to save their game at any time, or rewind gameplay.
