One Skyrim player managed to make an incredible discovery, finding that there is, actually, a third Dragonborn still alive and active during the game's story. The Dragonborn is, of course, a mortal being who contains the soul of a dragon, making them able to channel shouts like Skyrim's dragons do. The player character in Skyrim is eventually revealed to be the Dovahkiin, or Dragonborn, the newest member of this race that was thought to be extinct long ago.
The revelation that the player character is Dovahkiin is a major event in Skyrim, given that dragons and Dragonborn were believed to be extinct. Eventually, dragons begin reappearing throughout the region of Skyrim and the player encounters another Dragonborn too. Miraak, the First Dragonborn, returns to challenge the player and retake his place as ruler of Solstheim after being banished to the realm of Apocrypha. Miraak was also the main antagonist of The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn, the final official add-on to Skyrim, with the player being tasked with defeating Miraak once and for all. The battle between the First Dragonborn and the Last Dragonborn is supposed to be one for the ages. But, apparently, there was one other Dragonborn who was excluded from this conflict.

Redditor JimmyTheNephilim shared a screenshot with the player character talking with the Hero of Sovngarde, who states that he shares the honor and birthright of being a Dragonborn. This would make this mysterious character a third Dragonborn, in addition to the player and Miraak.
